Romantic Commodities, 1993

Romantic Commodities, a body of work from 1993, explored the persistent presence of urban experience and commodity culture in conceptions of the wilderness landscape. The exhibition comprised an eclectic range of works, including photographs, outdoor merchandise, and sculptural works that utilized such things as salvaged kayak parts.
